In a 1 hectare private
garden, the 2 cottages are ideal for large family groups up to 16 people,
or outside high season (July & August) individually for smaller groups of up to eight people. The
10x5m private pool has stunning views over the rolling hills, and amazing sunsets! Set in the heart of
the renowned Dordogne, you are a short ride from all the medieval castles
of the Dordogne Valley, the world famous prehistoric caves of Les Eyzies and
Lascaux, as well as, of course, the wine region of Bordeaux of which the first
vineyards start 30 mins away from the cottages!
Built in 1770, our cottages are restored with style
and harmony, making sure that we will offer you all the luxury and comfort you
will need. The cottages are well lit and open plan, with excellent views over
the rolling hills, as well as keeping almost all the 1770 stunning original
features. The two cottages are set on one hectare of garden, in which you'll
find a wide varieties of fruit trees (apples, pears, cherries, figs, plumbs,
peaches... of which you are welcome to help yourself!), walnut trees, acacias,
oaks etc... There is also a 6ha meadow.
On hot summer days, our 10 x 5 private swimming pool will cool you off nicely,
as well as providing great entertainments for your kids, family and friends.
Changeover day -
The arrivals in the cottages after 4pm onwards on Saturdays,
while the departure should be no later than 10am on Saturdays. All of it for
cleaning purposes. Thank you for your understanding.
Accommodation
During High Season (July & August) the properties are only
available as a joint rent - up to 16 people.
Notes on accommodation
- Welcome pack provided.
- Cot, & High chair available & stair gates fitted to the
top & bottom of the stairs in both properties
- For the comfort of all subsequent guests, smoking is not
allowed, and pets are not welcomed on the property, thank you for your
understanding.
- English-speaking representative to answer any questions.

twin rooms, all with exposed beams and very high ceilings.

studio situated just 4 meters away from the house!

and three bathrooms, with large showers, and a bath.

The kitchen, separate from the dinning room (which sits
8 and has a log fire), is fully equipped, from a large
fridge freezer, to the wide professional cooker,
microwave, dishwasher, while the washing machine and
dryer are in a laundry room.

armchairs is fully equipped with TV (english sat.TV),
DVD player and Hifi system.

welcome either families or 4 couples.

two bathrooms will accommodate our guests with maximum
comfort. The upstairs bathroom has a shower, whilst the
ground floor bathroom has both a shower & separate
bath.

modern appliances and more! (Wide professional gas
cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave,

The cottages are set on a one hectare garden, filled with
magnificent mature trees, and a wide range of all sorts of fruit trees, of which
you are more than welcome to help yourself and enjoy!

Each cottages has its own exclusive
terrace,
a barbecue, with garden tables, chairs and large umbrellas for outside lunches.

Beautiful 10 x 5 metre pool with
large roman steps - ideal for children. For added
security the pool is fully fenced. Thanks to its salt system will be gentle on your skin
and eyes.

Sun loungers and umbrellas are surrounding the pool, from which you
will admire some of the most beautiful sunsets!
- Two gas barbecue are also provided for outdoor meals.

Amenities
For lots of
information see Local Attractions
Each villages in the area take turns for market day. Hence, there is not one day
in the week without one of those local attractions happening in the vicinity.
The Tuesday Le Bugue market is renowned in the whole area, and is just over
10mns drive. You will find there all other shops, pharmacies, and supermarkets.
Cendrieux, our village, is 5mns walk away and has a supermarket, and a post
office.
Travel
Bergerac airport, only 30mns drive away is the closest. Direct low cost flights
from Stansted and other destinations (Flybe, Ryanair).
Bordeaux, 2 hours drive away, has direct flights from Gatwick, Manchester and
more.
A car is essential, and car hire places are found in all of the above airports.
Should you come with your own car, the drive from all the Channel Ferry
terminals is easy and pleasant thanks to the well built fast motorway system.
